Is anyone else getting this error message? I have tried to load a few tech videos over the past two days and continue to get this.

Mustang Forums at StangNet - Error

Media URL did not match any supported services.

Once I took the "S" out like madspeed suggested, it worked perfectly. I didn't even think about it causing a problem while I was logged into our youtube account.

All is good on my end. I posted up the two videos I needed posted.

Please provide an accurate description of what exactly, you clicked on when you received the error. If you clicked on a button and it took you to an HTTPS: instead of an HTTP: then we need to know what button or link took you there in order to fix it.

I didn't click on any button that took me somewhere to fix it.
When I would take this web link and try to post it under the "Submit Media" section, once I clicked on "Retrieve Information" it would give me that error.

Now when I take the "s" out of the "https" and submit it, it would retrieve the video and information from youtube with no problems.

Ohhhhhhhhhh.... I see what you mean now. The site that you were TRYING to pull from was encrypted.

Yeah, Youtube can be quirky. Click on the SHARE button on youtube in order to get the valid/active link for any video. There, you can just copy/paste the link that it provides.

This of course, will not work for private links that you have been specifically granted access. I don't believe that those links have SHARE buttons anyway.
