ok guys just got back from the track and needless to say i am very disapointed in my car!!! best run was my first!

i got 6 total runs, but i could have gotten 8 if i wanted to!

1st run
R/T .634
60' 2.918
1/8 13.312@53.43mph
1/4 20.520@68.85mph

best i could manage!
best R/T was .558
best 60' was 2.918
best 1/8 was 13.312
best 1/4 was 20.520
best speed was 69.23

ok now let the laughing begin!

Just kidding man. It's your first time even though you have an auto 2.3.....how did you launch?

just kidding, i just mashed the brake and got up to about 1500 rpm and with the last amber went, so did I!! but it was more like this

Sorry Dude but I *think* my wifes 01 stock Civic can go faster then that

You need MODS like a TURBO

Sorry man but your RT's were great and 60 foot time not bad, but dude those 1/8 and 1/4 times were you going down the track?

LMAO.......he did make some good points. My friend bone stock 92 2.3 stang ran 18.2 but i can't remember the mph. Then again he was a 5 speed......nor is he the best driver and nor am I.

Times in sig. for comparision. Sorry man, i'll stop now.

yeah i now it sucked, and yes a stock civic did beat me, but not by much and the turbo is a , cus i said i wasnt going to put any money into the car! and no i wasnt sleeping at the wheel, that was with my foot to the floor, and i was redlining 2nd gear when i crossed the lights, im gonna try and go again next week and see if i can make any improvements!

*shakes head* Ahhh, the miracles of no torque and an auto. It does amazing things... like 20 sec 1320 times . When do you think you're going to break into the 19's?

19's who are you kidding! i dont know what i could have done wrong, its an auto, all i have to do is mash the gas! but some how i managed to screw it up!

I doubt you could have done anything to do any better. Maybe a higher launch speed.

Something I'm better than y'all at...drag racing! Woo-hoo! I know I can beat White's times, there...but Baglock may be a bit more difficult (still need to fully experiment some, though...) But congrats on running, White. Any really cool cars out there we should know about?

BTW: Not to get off subject, but I just got back from Episode II, and beyond the fact that there's no suspense (cause you know who's going to live anyway) it was GREAT. WAY better than Episode I, and better than Empire Strikes Back. Not as good as the other two, though. Return of the Jedi is still unshakably the best in the series, IMO. Sorry, I had to get that out. Back to AutoX/Drag racing posting.

Any hp advantage you have over me is going to evaporate before too long. The only thing holding me back from going all out is following the rules (somewhat ).

I was going to go see Ep II, but I heard that Jar Jar hasn't been killed off yet. Now I'm not so sure.

Yeah, well, I got some time on you still. Season isn't over till December, but till then...muwhahahahaha! But come on, couldn't be that much that you're putting on. Your a suspension sorta guy, not power. Unless you're getting those turbos...

As for Jar Jar, his total screen time is about 5 mins combined. You barely even notice him at all. And honestly I wouldn't have minded seeing N*Sync in there. No one would have even seen them at all, in the battle scene were they would have been in. And the Jedi needed all the help they could get...

BTW: Yoda whuppin' up on the main bad guy was worth the price of admission, and cause to forgive Lucas for Jar Jar.

Suspension is first and foremost if I'm going to have any chance at giving TJ, Mike, and David a run. As for the engine... LT's and the X-pipe are going in. After that, I'll do the gears and maybe the T56. Then I'll find another block and start the 306 that's going to be blown.

alright guys have fun debating car stuff in here, and i will see you people on sunday! oh and i heard yoda busted out with something cool?!! but im gonna keep with the trend i set with the first 4 and not go and see it!!! ive never seen any of them, and plan to keep it that way!

same here ... i've never seen any of them and i like to stick with tradition ... you say you got in like 6 runs could've gotten 8? ... was the track not that busy?

no it wasnt that busy, the furthest back i ever was like maybe a car or 2 after the pits lanes start to turn, and the did a good job of keeping things moving! there were some decent cars, but as usual, there were a lot of ricers too!

Star Wars freak right here. Seen every one, and watched them all last weekend to prepare for the new one.

I wouldn't say I'm a freak, but I'm definately a fan. Although I don't remember it, I saw Star Wars at the drive in. I saw Empire out there too and I do remember that one. Seeing that huge Asteroid Worm was a trip on a 100' screen
