What a biased moron. This was in the Orlando Sentinel today, in the Ride section, titled "Camaro was fast, but the times still passed it by."

"That much was made clear to me during a recent gas stop in the red red and black and flamboyantly silver-striped Camaro SS convertible. A kid at an adjacent pump was filling a very slick, monochrome indigo-blue-metalic Honda Civic. Emprical observation says he put about $5,000 extra into that little car to get it loking the way he wanted it to look. But even with all those added touches, the kid's Civic didn't seem the least bit ostenatious. He looked at the Camaro SS convertible and dismissed the car with a shake of his head and a smirk."

The whole article was SOOO biased against the Camaro it wasn't even funny. And anyone who would describe a Honda as "very slick" doesn't deserve to be writing jack about a Camaro. Sorry, had to vent.

You know you're addicted when....

http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?threadid=179041

You recognize someone's engine setup from a cropped picture with no description what so ever.

Well, driving around M.I.(Merrit Island for those that don't know), and on the way home, I hit the gas, RPMs went to around 3400-4000 as normal, and then REV REV, caught the tach at that RPM...constant...when it was supposed to shift. So it looks like my tranny is giving me the 2 weeks notice of a problem.

Tranny problems must be a florida thing, my AOD is screwed up but the old T-5 is holding up pretty well (Knock on wood)

Just a little cop info for the orlando guys. I guess the cops around here are now using brand new chevy extended cab pickup trucks. I was on CR427 and the guy hit the old wail and sirens for about 4 seconds right in back of me in the inside lane. I don't really understand why he did it, but the guy decides to pass me right after not giving me any look or anything as he went by
Just keep the lookout for an unmarked dark blue silverado and a black impalla.

I wasn't in the first place Low on Dough...

Anyway, its not tranny(so hah on ya'll...but I still am the slowest ).

The car falls on its face around 4k...so its ignition...gonna do some post searching and check the usual suspects since its been raining a lot(water under the cap), and also the wires(was making a knocking sound and shaking one day, played with the wires, went away).

If something was wrong...I was gonna try and steal this from my uncle

I think its my cousin's new car, not sure...but I was gonna try hard to scam it off from my uncle...its a 5 speed with a CD deck...two things I need now. Oh yeah, it proably runs better...but thats a given.

Took out the #2 spark plug...white as a ghost...can you say not good...I knew you could...but thats not the best part...getting it out...WITH A SPARK PLUG SOCKET...the cermic got broken...so now I'm down a cylinder...because of a spark plug this time...so I gotta either find a spark plug laying around or run down with 3 cylinders and buy another spark plug(might as well get a whole set right?). Might have to hitch a ride with someone for tomorrow...didn't want to do that. Oh yeah...and it gets better...I found a bunch of black ants living in my trunk under the trunk mat. No clue how they got there...but there was thousands of them. So now my trunk smells like Unscented Raid...the best kinda actually....

Speaking of which, I need to get off my lazy butt and go do any needed adjustments on the tri-ax, before I start having tranny problems.
