Okay, I got it now. So I'd get them both in the same set. Pretty sweet deal, then. I think after I consult TJ on the installation price, I'll go for it.

BTW: Congrats to all of us "orginal" guys, and congrats to the new guys, for pushing this baby up above 5K. So who's ready to shot for 10K?

Dan, if I recall correctly, Adam took out his isolators to get a lower drop out of his springs. I was just wondering what any drawbacks to that would be, since I was looking at pics of Bullitts last night, and I wasn't sure if I'd be happy with just the 1 inch drop.

Eric- noise might be a reason, and they do help set the spring in the perch right, i wouldnt want them out.

I agree. NVH is going to be the major drawback. We could pull out the isolators and cut the springs to get you the drop you're looking for and it'd cost you exactly bubkis, but I guarantee you'd hate the ride and driving the stang would soon be a chore instead of a delight.

I can understand wanting to go a bit lower, but the furthest I would go is 2". As soon as you pass that mark, bump steer is going to become an issue and the car will be darting all over the road.

We could piece you together H&R SS springs (1.75" F/1.60" R) and bilsteins for around $450. That'd give you the drop you're looking for and the Bilsteins are better shocks/struts anyways.

Hmmm...website for me to reference? Sounds good, even though I'd rather go for a 1.5" all around. Crap this stuff is expensive.

OK yes i was on there looking for some parts and man let me tell you guys they are just well i emailed 5 or 6 people for parts cold air intake an f cam an so forth i got 1 e mail back saying i got aguy that gave me 10.00 deposit email me in 5 days to see if deal goes thur and on a good note my 4.10s came today woo hoo

ill say this, i like their classified section alot better, but thats about it. good deal on the 4.10s cant wait to here what you think about them and on a side note, i have found another white coupe for sale, and am working on finding out if im gonna be able to get it

Is this going in a 5 speed car? I had 4.10s in my vert when it use to be an AOD now it has a TKO in it. I think you will like them. A lot of people say to use 3.73s with 5 speeds but I decided to try them out first. You get use to 1st gear not lasting too long but besides that I love them. Now I just need to find some traction when shifting gears

I think I'm going to ask for Sunday off so I can come out to AutoX with you guys. Is there anyone I can follow out and help me get my car in the right order to race? ( tire psi, and what to do with all the loose stuff inside ) Any information on that would be appreciated, and if there is stuff I need to read up on or something, perhaps whoever can bring it tonight at Hooters.

i would talk to erich, eric, and tj tonight if you go to hooters. erich and tj, can give you more experienced answers, and eric, can tell you easier then the rest of us, what to expect as a first timer, since he just did it not that long ago. my only advice, is have fun, and dont worry about what anybody else is doing, and concentrate on your car and yourself. make sure you have a battery tie down, hub caps/center caps off the car, numbers written on the quater windows, and be there early I have to work sunday, but i might try and come out early and hangout for a bit. we'll see how things go have fun tonight guys, and ill let you all know what i find out at the next meeting

ATTN SCCA members(baglock and others) turn to the OCT 2002 issue of the checker(scca cfr) page # 19. My car is featured(in a photo) and they even spelled my name right.

It was taken at the 8/18/2002 Palm Bay event. 1st place in ESP.


Good luck to eveyone this weekend I'll be in gainsville with MSCC. And prolly going to catch the gator game as well.(that should be worth a good laugh)
