Sweet! While not in the mail yet, I'm currently trying to swing a deal for some 97 SVT Cobra wheels. If, when I get those, the race rubber will be on the way...

Yeah, I was looking in the 2002 rulebook and it says the same . I was going to mention it but since it doesn't apply to you I figured I'd keep my mistake out of the public eye .

And as far as keeping up with you, I think you're just teasing me. Everytime I start getting a little faster you just turn in a second faster. Go easy on me!!! My tires can only take so much !

And just a note to everyone in here, I died my hair today ! Never done that before, it's a little weird...

Great...dad won't let me do anything else to the car, including a Tri-Ax. I hate the fact that I couldn't buy the car myself! Arg! Now I gotta wait till at least this summer when I get a job. And, to make things worse, I think he may not let me take it AutoXing again.

Oh no! What happened? I can sorta understand the shifter, but the auto-x too? You did tell him that you're in the middle of a points race, right?

Out of curiosity, where's the lockout on that handle? Did the new one eliminate it or is it hidden from view on the front edge?

He doesn't want to get me the Tri-Ax because he doesn't like me AutoXing, and I get the feeling he might not let me go again. The main reason is because the tires seem to be wearing down fast (I think he said they were down to 8.5 on the front and 9 on the rear after 3K miles. Is that high? I really don't know). He also said that since I'd have to sell it one day, he'd perfer I just leave everything stock on it (which isn't going to happen when I go to college). I guess We'll see what happens in early April.

If he doesn't let me do it again, I prolly won't come out until the last heat or so, and then go to Hooters with y'all. No use in going out there and getting sun burned for nothing.

yeah i guess thats a good point but then you wouldnt be able to do ride alongs...atleast you can still ride with other people and have fun!!!

Just returned from NMRA race at bradenton..Ran a new best! 11.96/113.5 The black 5.4 car ran 10.80/121 on the first pass everything worked(100 hp nitrous shot)...Al
