erich, you also have to remember, that when it was only like 6 or 7 of us, we always sat inside. im sure if we all sat inside(which isnt going to happen) the service would be like it was when we started. but thats just my view on it.

as for chowders, where is it? what im thinking right now, is that we need to have one last meeting at hooters, since everyone from the club doesnt visit the boards here. after that, buhbye hooters and hello somewhere else

There is CiCi's on the corner of wickam and ea galley (spelling?).Its a win-dickme,err I mean Win-Dixie shopping plaza with a applebees in front of it.Cant miss it.Hey what about applebees?But they aint cheap tho...

I'm with you on trying a new place Blackmagic. Hooters get's old after awhile.

Chowders is located off the river on U.S. 1. I think it is considered north melbourne or viera.

Plenty of parking at Ci Ci's in Melbourne but no outside sitting.

well then, my next question is, do we just wanna skip hooters for the next meeting and go to chowders? if we do, then we all need to make an effort, if we see other club members, to pass the word along. i dont have phone numbers for everyone, but i will probably see alot of the guys around town.

Chowders is easy to find. It is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of US-1 and Suntree on the river. Even though it is at the north end of Melbourne it has a Rockledge address because it is on the north side of Suntree. The have steaks, seafood, ribs, chicken, salads, sandwiches and the worlds best chowders.

Oh. yeah, I know. But we're still going to be eating outside at Chowders, correct?

Look, I'm cool with a move, I'm just saying that we shouldn't expect some miracle change in service wherever we go. But that's just my opinion.

Yes they have an outside area to eat. You can also bring your boat and dock it there.

Unless everyone can be informed about the change, I'd suggest we still go to Hooters next time. What are the one or two members (at least) going to think when they show up at Hooters and no one's there? I for one, would not be very happy at all.

Here's something that we need to think about, though. I know we all complain about the service at Hooters, but think about it...there's 20 of us. This is a lot different than going out to dinner with your significant other or a few friends. To the orginals here, when it was just the few of us meeting at Hooters, service was fine, but the more people that are there, the longer it's going to take to get the food to us. It's not going to change no matter where we go, unless we stick with someplace like Sonics. But this is all just my opinion.

It wouldn't be so bad if the waitresses could admit when they're overwelmed and either give up their tables inside to concentrate on us or get another 2-3 girls out there to help. Some servers can handle a group of 25 +-. I haven't seen any of them that can while keeping us all happy, although the last girl wasn't that bad. Sorry Erich, but you're Firebird girl needs to stick to the groups of 5 or less.

Yeah, I have been with groups of 20 and usually 2 people can keep everybody happy. Maybe next meeting we can do a vote on where to meet next. Somebody was supposed to talk to the manager at TGIFridays to check on parking for us also.

Well, I got everything done on my 88LX yesterday, so the T&T at Bithlo tonight is a go. Weather looks good, cool tonight with no rain prediction.

Was anybody else going to be able to make it?

I usually leave around 5:15 so I can get a good parking spot for the trailer. I will be in my black 97 F-150 and parked sort of behind the concession stand if anyone wants to look me up. My car number will be 0809.

A week and a half ago. The wife is going to be taking the car over to Tampa weekend after next so I'm going to wait until she gets back from that. I want a bit of a break in time for any gremlins to crop up before she goes tooling across the state. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm saved!
The bank wouldn't give me the loan because I didn't have proof of income. Only been working at Doubles for a week. My dad was co-signing, so I called him up, told him that I'm screwed, so he said he would just write a check to USAA paying it off, and then when I get a paycheck, I have to go to the bank and get the loan then to pay back my dad, so it all works out.

Then, after I get that taken care of, I'll have some good credit, and hopefully some cash saved up. Then I can take out another loan perhaps to get a Mustang! Woo!

I was planning on going to the track tomorrow, but in a (this time GOOD!) change of plans, we're in Naples. Tomorrow my dad is picking up a red 99 35th anniversary edition convertible! Now the plan is to sell the 66 and pick up a matching set of Vortechs. The 99 only has 8300 miles on it too! It looks great. Probably be able to post some pics tomorrow.
