I had TJ install it when I got my subframes welded in. I could of done it myself. Only 3 wires pretty easy.

Erich...the compound is damn cool, but have you seen the cops lately? They patrol it now at various intervals throughout the day....trying to catch people doing crap back there. It sucks. At least out there the only life you're risking is your own. All patrolling it is doing is making the street racer people race ON THE STREET.... STUPID STUPUD STUPID!

Nah, haven't been back there for a long time. Sucks about the cops, though. I remember it seemed like they were moving a lot of construction equipment and black dirt back there. Did they ever start any construction?

Dan, hell yeah 3 wires is too much for me. I read the online instruction the other day, and i read the first word "disconnect" and I was like "well, better let TJ do it."

Well, I got a cold beer, a hand full of sandpaper, and a nice sunny day. Time to start sanding out the dings and chipped paint that the French (I tried to think of the worst insult possible and French pretty much nailed it head on) put in my car.

I'm getting the damage fixed ASAP so I can get paid. Once I get the check, the entire car is going to get painted (with or without the hood). I may need to hit you up Dave for some photoshop skill. I need to decide between Sonic Blue and Mineral Grey to go along with the scheme I've got in mind .

Good idea on calling them French. And it also starts with an "F" which is the same as another word that could be used to describe them.

Quite a difference between Sonic Blue and Min Grey, but I'd say go Soinc.

Erich..Last time I went out there it was to G-Tech my Camaro, probably about 1 1/2 months ago. Never saw them build a damn thing. Maybe they were TAKING dirt from there? I got busted once by a cop out there about a year ago...me and my friend, both of us had Camaros, were lining up for a drag and one of the big dump trucks passed us..apparently they radioed in. So we raced 3 times...I KILLED him...then as both of us plus a third friend as a spectator were leaving, I was in front and a cop car SWERVES in front of me so I'd front-end him if I kept going...so naturally I stop, and he drives up next to each one of us in a row, questioning us..then tells us that he never wants to see us back there again, that we have no business being back there, and he'll write us a ticket next time. I just smiled and nodded.... Yeah, sure officer..show me the no trespassing sign.

You don't need a trespassing sign to arrest someone for trespassing.

But how do they arrest me for trespassing if I wasn't aware it was private property because there was no sign??

not knowing that it is private property can't be used as an excuse. The officer can arrest you if he has enough PC that you commited the crime. It's up to the Judge to decide wether your guilty or not.

Sorry officer you can't give me a ticket for speeding I didn't know the speed was only 45 and not 70

The officer could also arrest you for criminal mischief. This FSS covers alot of stuff.

Anyway I'm not being a jerk I just don't want anybody to get in trouble.

Hmm....that's true.. I'm sure I could get off of any charges though without there being a sign there and with no physical proof that we were doing illegal things. But still...food for thought...being arrested has got to suck.

Is it private property out there though? Last time I was there, it was a public road all the way through. Sounds to me like the cop was just trying to strong arm it and intimidate you. He knew what you guys were doing out there, but not being able to prove it, he was trying to scare you.

You don't have to have the owner present to press charges. If the Police Officer doesn't have enough PC they can fill out an information and send it to the SAO and if the SAO wants to file the information on you then you will be arrested.

Yeah, the place is private property, but I've never had a problem out there with cops. One of my friends wanted to go out there last night, but we went out to the skid pad and played around instead. Also beat a ricer last night, but it's a long story that I don't feel like typing, since I got home at 2am last night.
