What kind of boat are you thinking about getting Baglock? A ski, fishing, or performance boat?

No I am not leaving due to the cost of living. I have been looking for a better job throughout central florida for over a year. I cant find one. For the record I am a network Admin type, BS in CS, CCIE, MCSA, etc.

I have job offers on the table in San Antonio plus The company I co-own is based in San Antonio.

I love it here on the space coast, theres just not enough work in the IT field in Florida right now!

How can you talk about getting rid of the Mustang after you just bought all those nice MM parts for it? We still need a Mustang contingent at the Autocrosses, you can't quit now.

I had a boat once. I well remember why it is called a hole in the water you pour money into.

I've never owned a boat, but I can tell you this, and the girlfriend will agree, a mustang is just a big a hole, just surrounded by four tires.

I'd probably just sell them at a loss and pass the savings on to y'all. But even if I do sell it, it'll be awhile so I'll probably still put them all in. I dunno...

Right now, the mustang is a hole in the asphalt I'm pouring $$$ into. Besides, as of late I just don't seem to get excited about anything car related. Probably just because I haven't done much car related lately.

I want a sailboat, something around 24-28 feet. The wife wants something powered for skiing or partying. As a compromise, I'm looking at a 28' cabin cruiser right now. It's a 100 to 1 chance I'll get it, but it's possible. Like I said, we want a new house first.

I'll be there in my hunk-o-**** too. (Sigh) The tranny is slipping so bad through first gear that I can actually FEEL it. And slipping big time into second. Thank god I'm getting that hunk of **** out of there.... So the final question is...TCI Street Fighter, or B&M. Difference is a few hundred bucks...but the B&M comes with a shifter and the TCI doesnt, so they're basically equally priced for all intents and purposes.

The B&M may be a good unit for the street but you see a whole lot more TCI at the track. No personal experience here as I have 5 speeds in both my cars.

What about a converter? I've been leaning towards the TCI for the tranny since it sounds well built and I get to pick my own shifter to throw on it... Thing is...the 3000 stall converter, I think that'd be a pain to run on a daily driver. What would it operate like? Would cruising at low rpms even be possible?? I'm not exactly sure what role the stall speed would play in a daily....but I might be reconsidering the 3000 stall. Problem is, I can't find a 2500 stall converter....
