The Soldiers, friends, and family of US Army SGTs Tim and Randi Miller that were murdered in their home last weekend are doing a Memorial Ride/Cruise in their behalf. The Millers, friends, and fellow Soldiers would ride their motorcycles on the weekends together on a regular basis. So in recognition of them and what they enjoyed doing, we are riding! We will be meeting at the Krispy Creme at the Tacoma Mall @ 1200 tomorrow. There will be many bikes and cars there and most of us will take a little drive for about an hour. Anyone who has followed this tragic event on the news and that would like to come and pay their respects would be greatly appreciated! It is expected to be a large turn out of friends and family.

Thank You,
Brian

A really sad story and all because of jealousy. I wish I could make it, but unfortunately I have work. I'm glad their daughter was not harmed from her kidnapping. Hopefully someone will post pics of the turnout. Will the news crews be filimg?

God Bless all our troops.

I don't know about the news. Hopefully not! I'm sure the family has had enough and would rather be left out of the news as if they aren't in it enough already. I will be taking pics and filming and will post the results tomorrow evening. Thanks for your support!

Well, the family created a myspace account for the Memorial Ride in memory of the Millers. I will be adding my pics to it Wednesday afternoon, but there is already about 300 pics available on the web page. It was one of the most interesting events I have ever participated in. We started out at the Tacoma Mall Krispy Kreme and drove down to the Olympia Capitol where all the Fallen Soldier's Memorials are located. After a few speechs, a moment of silence, and some grieving; we went to a well known motorcycle establishment called "Inni's" in Lakewood. There we did what is known to be a "proper send off" in the motorcycle community. We sounded off with by reving our exhausts for about 20 seconds and then everyone did different styles of burnouts. Even though I wasn't on two wheels, I still got a lot of respect from the different bike groups that were there. During our convoys, they would seal off intersections even though the lights were all red allowing all of us to get through. I definately enjoyed myself and I think the next motorized investment is going to be a bike!

Check out the site, lots of good pics!
