Wheel in the first pick certainly looks chrome to me....or at the very least polished?

Either way, I still think they look nicer than the black.

I dig.

Just need to get rid of the pinstripe and you'll be all set. If the all-black wheel thing doesn't work for ya' after awhile, just sand down the outer lip and clear-coat it - that's what I wound up doing on the wheels on Frankenstang's notch.

I only like all black wheels on certain cars but i think it looks pretty good for stock rims. It's pretty much just temporary until these are finished (which will be black in the center unless i find the right color of gold/bronze and then i may go that route).

When those are done i'll probably have the black ones media blasted and paint them back a stock silver color just for originality.

Yeah, I finally caught that. But you have to admit, with the over head light source, they kind of looked like a chrome or a polished finish...at least in my monitor. And if they in fact had looked like that, I would have thought it a huge mistake for him to paint over it.

They actually shine like that in person especially in sunlight so they don't look anything like steel rims. Everyone who's seen them asked if i got new rims...nobody believes i spray painted them.

Maybe this looks more clear:

And here's a pic from Sunday's cruise-in:

And here's a filthy pic from back in the winter when i test fitted the Enkei's on the back. Just wait until they're polished and repainted...
