Hey All!! I have an '04 GT and I just put a Bassani X-pipe with cats on along with their catback system. The sound is to absolutely die for!!! One problem though, and I was wondering if you would be able to help me. The reason I got the x with cats is so that I would be able to pass emissions and so that the pipe won't trip the SES light. 50 miles down the road it trips it and I went to have the codes pulled, and it was related to the rear o2 sensors. First ? why does this happen, I mean I have cats and everything fits nice and snug. Is it that there is too much flow passed the sensors, or is the computer really that sensitive to the data? Second, will MIL elim. work for my application and will I still be able to pass emissions testing?

Thank You

Remove the Mil's and reset the codes. You really only need them without cats. I originally installed mine and one ended up being defective. DMP gladly exchanged them for new ones, but I did not install them. I passed emmissions two weeks ago without them and no codes have been set since. Since you have the same X-pipe that I do, I know that your kit also came with two straight pipes to replace the cats. If you go that route, you will need the MIL's.

Sometimes the high flow cats will not burn up the unburnt fuel, and still trip the ses light. Get the mil eliminators, after you clear the code you should not have any more problems.
