Sorry for the up coming stupid question, but what advantage do the coil overs have over the regular set up?

yeah some pics with the GF on the mini bike

but i'm surprised you had to cut anything off the coil over kit. so much for bolt-ons.

subscribing as i have some mmr coil-overs waiting to be installed.

how's the ride feel?

and are they noisy?

btw, you're a lucky guy. you have a hot g/f and she is ok with you working on your car. that's a great combo. my wife has never been ok with me working on my car, but i have been working on her and she is starting to come around a little.

Hey man thanks for the compliment, she is the best, she even bought me the coilovers for my b-day last week. now to answer your questions:

1.the ride is silky smooth compared to the pro kit, BIG IMPROVEMENT, you WILL love them as they absorb bump's ALOT better. Plus the steering feels alot tighter and lighter.

2.No they are not noisy, tell you the truth it's quieter(maybe because it's smoother now) at first i didnt put enough spacers under the strut tower and they were making a "boing" at lock 2 lock steering but i put another 1/4" spacer and sloved what was a rubbing issue on the strut tower by the way i have (1) 1/2" spacer and (1) 1/4" spacer for a total of 3/4" of spacers under the strut tower and that seems to be perfect.
