more fuel pressure

i checked my fuel pressure, 37 vac off. 25 vac on. so, it's low. i then checked it before the pressure reg. only getting 35psi. from the pump. i replaced the pump and the fuel filter. still 35psi. that doesn't seem right. anyone have any ideas? oh yeah, and i have changed the regulator and it's not adjustable.

Yeah. Get an adjustable one. You sure your pump is getting enough juice?

well if it isnt adjustable then it might be at it's max.

The stock style regulator is restrictive and not adjustable. Buy an aftermarket unit and bump it up to about 38-40 vac. off.

there's enough power but, shouldn't the pump put out more than that before the regulator? i have manipulated the stock FPR to run at 45 no vac for about an hour, didn't seem to help. anyone have any restriction problems in their fuel lines?
