I have an issue.... I have a 69 Fastback roller. I have a 302 from a pickup, "ran when pulled, upgraded to bigger HP motor." And I have a 66 350 Vette motor, 350HO HP motor, runs. The tranny I have is a 4spd toploader from a 390FE.

What do I do?!!? HELP

I hope you're not thinking of putting that Chey motor in a classic mustang? Maybe try to find a 390 motor and stroke it out sounds good to me. or stroke that 302 out to a 347?

No I'm not going to put a Chev in a Ford, stating what I had. Lol Main question is from what I've read, the toploader won't mate up to the 302 without a good amount of modification. So get a TL for the 302, or get a 390 for my current TL, OR do I make the mods and mate the two? I don't know what all would need to be done to my current TL, or how difficult/expensive it would be.

390 has different input shaft for the top loader than a small block ford top loader.
Yes ,the stroker kit for a 390 would do just fine

You could just buy a T5z and put that in with the 302. It isn't that hard.
