I had a whistle. It was my pcv valve hanging off the back of the intake manifold. It had gone bad. 3 dollars replaced it and the sound. However it could be a vacuum leak anywhere but the pcv is where i'd start. Not to hijack but how come nobody puts where they live anymore? If you were close too me i'd offer to help you.

Have you replaced your coil?
Put an ear up to it. When I replaced mine w/ an MSD coil, it now had a high-pitched vibrating ringing to it, kind of like a "cricket".

Darthcaul, I personally don't put my exact city because of the high rate of car theft around here. Unfortunately, you can't trust anybody thses days

Do you have a GT40 intake or a big throttle body...or both. Every GT40 intake I've ever used (it's been a few years) whistled. I liked it. I also had an Accufab throttle body that whistled as well. The pitch of that was not as pleasing as the intake sound though.

If it's a stock ingition (besides the coil) and N/A, I would stick w/ the factory .54"

You don't really need colder plugs unless you're using a power adder like NOS or a blower, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong...
Did you listen to the coil yet?
W/o abox, it's still a "stock" ignition.

The stock ignition is good up to 400 HP, so spend your money elsewhere
