I bought the MSD 8920 to fix my factory tach after installing the MSD6AL. I know I have to tap into the positive side of the coil. Does this wire simply splice in with the positive coil wire, or do I cut the wire and reroute it through the box somehow.

The way I understand the diagram is that I simply need to leave the positive coil wire where it is and just splice into it with the Tach Driver's wire. Is this right?

Thanks!
