MSD Shift Light..8963

MSD Shift Light..8963----Update on feedback issue

Hey guys, I'm installing the MSD digital shift light...

I ran everything properly and what not...but when I hook up the power wire to the fuse box under the dash, I get interference, so the little tach reads crazy numbers between 4000-and 6500 flashing frantically...

When I hooked it up to the fuse box in the engine bay, it was dead on...

So I need a new power source from under the dash but havin a hard time finding a diagram or whatever...

Can anyone tell me an ignition powered wire under the dash? Preferably which harness and colour?

Does anyone know of a 12v power source under the dash? Besides the radio?

Hey guys, just incase someone installs this in the future and has the same problems, after alot of scratching and a few talks to MSD Tech Support...I set the light up on a relay in the engine bay...this got rid of any feedback and therefore it all works properly...
