alright so right when i had the car fixed this afternoon i went for a drive, it was doing so good but after i filled the car up with gas right when i got to the light the car started to bog down and try dying i kept tryin to push the gas several times to get the rpms up but it would do nothing, so its in the parking lot right now, fuel pump primes, fuel goes through the rails, new recent injectors, i have spark to the cylinders, i even replaced the coil for the heck of it, so i kept tryin to start it all it did was crank, but it sounded like it was firing up but then going back to cranking.

Sounds like your timing is out of whack. I know that isn't a lot of help, but maybe your timing chain jumped a tooth, how many miles are on the engine?

its an explorer motor with about 20,000 miles on it, but actually i think its somthin to do with the injectors, theyre new but its the electrical part, i did the testing with a noid light and when the car cranks its a constant light, it doesnt pulse.

Faulty computer. Sounds like the injector drivers are shot.

You need to make sure the ECM is powering up. So check for 5v at the TPS orange wire. And 12v at the injector red wires.

Sounds to me like you got some gas that was contaminated with either water or sediment. It might be a good idea to siphon the gas out of the tank and filter it, drop the tank and clean it, then replace the fuel filter.

I kinda mis-read your post. You have a constant noid light. Usually means a bad injector driver. How many injectors are like that?

i changed out the computer, and re did all the grounds. the injectors are pretty much new, i mean only about 40 miles on them, theyre from summit, i tested the pressure from the rails and showed 40 psi, i dont know what to test now, do i test all the injectors? one by one, or is testing one good enough?

Sorry to be an nuisance...

I had the exact same problem happen to me on another fox...

I was not paying attention to what I was doing... focused on cleaning a spot on the car...and quickly learned how soon after starting, diesel fuel can shut you down.

I quickly recognized my terrible error...so I did not attempt to restart car, so I was exceptionally lucky to have car towed, diesel purged from entire system...and have car restart without replacing injectors.

I'm a little tired and fighting a headache so I might mispeak here. Apologies if that's so.

The injector drivers are inside the EEC. The injectors get constant accessory voltage and the EEC supplies a modulated ground to energize each injector.

I would add to check another injector. Sometimes an injector wire gets pinched during parts R/R and that could give you a constant noid. You probably would not have this happen with more than one cylinder however.

If you haven't, crank it with the gas pedal floored (shutting off the injectors) to try and de-foul your plugs.

Good luck.

It would be a rare case if it was the TFI or PIP sensor. Rule it out by unpluging the TFI connector. Test light stays lit, its not the TFI. Goes off, then something crazy is happening.
