Assuming it's colder than it was, that's not super unusual (oil becomes thicker). It could also be a symptom of something else happening with your engine perhaps related to oil pressure. If something was stuck in the oil pickup, it could drift away after sitting for a while. You'd be the best one to know if there's a chance of any garbage having gotten into the pan. Lifter tick can also be caused by low oil pressure - which has a number of possible causes. I'd recommend you check oil pressure (with a real gauge) along with the changes you plan to make.
