Ok, new to this forum, so bear with me..Had my 1970 Fastback for 22 years now..should know everything about her, but, i am in need of side glass..and found a classified out here that has full set for $25.00..but it does not state whether it's fastback or notch..my question to you all is : Is there a difference in door glass from a fastback to notch ? Thanks in advance.

I'm not familiar with the "Notch" terminoligy, but I know where to get the 2 side rear windows for a 69/70 coupe if thats what your looking for, I was in the junkyard this morning scouting for some glass myself.

Notch is Coupe, aren't the 69/70 also known as Grandes?

Grand was an option package that came with the vynle covered top and the clock in the dash, as far as I know those are the only differences.

Notch

Sorry, been calling them that out here in California so long..but yes, by "notch" i meant notch back or coupe as it were..i am just wondering if the door windows are the same on a coupe or a fastback..not too many left out here in the wrecking yards !

According to my parts interchange manual fastbacks and coupe side glasses are different. 69's were glue in windows and some 70's were also. The bolt in windows started on October 1, 1969. That is according to my parts interchange manual.

Thanks to all for the input..too bad..had a real good deal on the side glass for a coupe..knew it was too good to be true !
Stay tuned as i am going to have LOT'S of questions...
