Well my 2011 Mustang GT prem. was done this past Wensday May 26th and rolled off the line. Now its just awaiting shipment from MI to FL. ETA is June 20th. Ford told me the ETA is just a guess and isnt anything written in stone. So just wondering for all those who already got your 2011's how long did it take to get it once it rolled off the line done? I realize sometimes travel time is longer ect so I was just curious. Thank you.

My 2010 was build on June 22nd last year and arrived at the dealership in Corpus Christi, TX on July 10th. So it took about 3 weeks...that seems like a reasonable estimate

I'm gonna have to come check out the car when you get it. Maybe that'll help me decide if I want to order or what.

But most people I've talked to said about 2-3 weeks. Just depends on "the truck," is what I hear.

When did you put your order in? I'm thinking about ordering one next weekend and I'm in Fernandina so I'm assuming the travel time would be around the same...that wait has got to be killer, though.

heh.. better be careful who you ask that question to, it gets some people upset because their cars have been off the line for 45+ days and still hasn't shipped. I am not trying to be negative however, because I'm so tired of seeing threads of people complaining about how long it's taken to get their cars. Hopefully you will have yours within 2 weeks

I was under the impression the delay on shipping the V8's was due to Ford's official release of it. The v6's are already on the lots, but the 5.0 wasn't due to be released (at a Ford event) until end of May.

There are a few people who got theirs late April and beginning of May. The people who haven't got theirs ordered at the same time as some of these people and are still waiting. The rumors are the wait is for quality control and blah blah.

I work for Ford. They will give us an ETA but thats about as reliable as congress. Some arrive sooner than others. My car arrived pretty quick...which was just luck...but I've seen other Mustangs coming through here that its taken nearly 2 months to arrive. So, order the car, but don't expect miracles. If the miracle comes, be happy. If it takes time, be happy anyway. There is nothing we can do from the sales side to expedite Ford...just keep asking.

I really wish some people could live by this, but man, on some forums people are freaking out about their cars not being here and want to cancel their orders all together. I understand being frustrated but an ETA is estimated, not exact. By the way, are you a salesman or what do you do at Ford? I was wondering if someone from a different dealership than mine can look up my order?

I'm one of those people... Ordered a GT Premium, Rapid Spec 401, 3:55, Comfort Package... MARCH 23rd. I'm getting testy. 2005 C6s are beginning to tempt me again.

I ordered mine a week ago. I know it's an estimate & I've got a long way to go, but I'm OK with that. It give me more time to muster a bigger down payment. To all those still waiting, just hang in there. Some things are worth the wait & I'm sure you won't be disappointed when you get it. Just be glad you're not in my position having to wait another 8-9 weeks! It'll all be good when you get it.

What options did you get?

Id do it Monday but they do not know what time it will show up Monday. So if its in the afternoon by time they get it ready and it might be to late to do the financing ect. Rather just take off Tuesday and know for sure it will be all done and banks open incase they need to talk to a live person for finance reasons.
