It's a 289 bored 30 over Diamond pistons. A crane powermax hydraulic cam. paxton supercharger @ 7 pounds boost. 750 mighty demond carb. 110 octane. @ 6300 rpm 471 lb-ft @ 6300 rpm 566 cm-hp . I had it built at a race shop in my town. Dyno day kicks a$$.

You gained almost 200% more HP by swapping cam, carb and adding a supercharger? That is pretty impressive.

Are these engine dyno figures or rear wheel figures? Which type of dyno? Do you have any copies of the sheets you can post?

Congrats on the Numbers!!

That's really impressive for a 293ci engine on only 7 psi of boost.

try more like 20% of loss.

I wonder what my blown 347 will make according to a desktop dyno on 10 psi with 10:1 comp I should be pushing 580 hp @6500 rpm. HMMMM

So you should have a 16%-18% loss with a manual.
