I have a 95 mustang gt and my car has been burning oil somewhere i constantly have to keep putting oil in my car and I can’t figure out why. It’s not leaking out anywhere so it’s confusing me as to where it’s going anyone have an idea on what’s wrong or possibly know how to fix this?
A few things to look for, blue smoke out of the exhaust, also black wet residue around the ends of the muffler body (there usually is a small hole at the end where the seam is) and at the tail pipe end. Smoke coming from the dip stick tube and/or the oil fill tube when the engine is running. Black sooty plugs. Those are signs of a worn engine. Do a compression test. If you can a leak down test too.
