I was driving to work and i was thinking today that i have had my car for 35,000 miles and it has yet to brake down. It has started everytime. Never gotten stranded, and has not given me one problem.

The only things thats went bad on the car was the stuff that goes bad over time (Clutch, Battery, IAC)

I <3 Ford

alll of my friends cars have broken down at least 3 times.

Mine's been great too. After 66K miles, all I've had go wrong is the fuel pump failed.

the thing is though... alot of us guys take GOOD care of our rides... preventative maintenance really helps things...
The only thing on mine that has really broke so to say would be the voltage regulator on the alternator. It would still start, and run ... for a few blocks...
and the intake doesn't count

and I do know about the lemons that come out and thats another story altogether...

I have a few problems with mine; the steering rack creaks, it burns 1 quart every oil change, and the spoiler has clearcoat problems. Other than that it's been good to me.

Mine's been great, with the exception of my auto trans dying on me. I still haven't figured out what caused that to happen.

My '03 has 39K miles and i've never had an issue. Never even had to use any of the warranty. Very reliable.

My 5.0 has 105K miles (i bought it at 53K) and the only problem was a $50 water pump blowing on me at 80K miles.
