i have a 88 gt (maf converted). it starts fine but after it idles for a little while i.e at a drive threw then i go to leave if i berely even attempt to get on it alil it will cut off at about 4500rpms. after that its a pain in the ass to get started back up usally takes 30-40 seconds for the pump to prime and restart. i thought it was fuel ..... but the tach drops to 0 when it shuts off.... if it was fuel should it still be fireing and making the tach stay where ever before i take it out of gear and cruise to side of road or median to get the bitch restarted? i also tried replacing my fuel pump relay thought it was maybe a ****ty connection and the new relay made the pump constantly prime it never clicked off... even after i turn key off pump was still priming so i put the old one back in. any help would be appreciated
