whats up guys? i went to the 1/8 mile last night and ran may car and its running 9.0s and 8.9s. about two and a half months ago i ran it and it was running 8.6. the only thing eles i have done to the car since the 8.6 passes is a 1" throttle body spacer, and it slowed the car down. does anyone know why? it ran better with i have jlt cai diablo 93 tune and slp axle back without the spacer. mph was 81-84 now its 78-80

I'm not sure that would of slowed you down that much, but I doubt it helped you any. TB spacers are nothing but expensive paper weights..

What was the weather like the last run and this run? ..same track? ..weight of the car? ..type & grade of fuel used? ..60' time? ..psi in the tires?

Any of those could of slowed you down. Need more info.

my 60 foot was the same 2.0 but it is alot hotter now than it was in march. also when i put the spacer on i modifyed the the tune from 91 oct to 93 by adv the spark two degrees. does that really make it a 93 oct tune? i saw it in a thread on modded mustangs? i since reset it to the org diablo jlt 91 tune. maybe that was the problem along with the heat. o! same track and fuel and weight too.

Weather plays a huge roll. Check this website out: DA Calculator - Density Altitude Calculator - DragTimes.com it will give you corrected times. Where it says 1/4 mile times and speed just enter your 1/8 mile times and it will give you the corrected times.
