I don't post much on this site but I'm sure some might be interested.

There are a lot of mods done, any specific questions I'm happy to answer.

70 Fastback
AJE coilover/kmember

04 mach1 master cylinder/hydroboost

Degreed the cam crower hydraulic roller .631 248/252 110

Cut back the shock towers, AJE kit made it possible.

Engine went in over the weekend...

I indexed the bellhousing last night, well, lack of indexed. centerlines matched up within .002-.003. Tranny goes in this weekend, I'm making my own crossmember for it.

I'm lucky to have good friends at classic performance and repair, Rich and Dustin to help me out now and then.

With that much power... passing on a 2 lane road can get hairy. It is not that you are worried about having room to pass. It is trying to keep it out of the ditch when it breaks lose at 60mph.

The car looks great and the engine would make anyone proud.

Yeah, when you pass make sure there is enough room for you to do it side ways. lol
The ceramic electric heater, or the remote style ?

Looking good!
And whats wrong with sideways? Took the Mustang to work yesterday in +5°C. The Kumho sport rubber gets quite hard and slippery with the road being that cold = powersliding all the way to work. Damn that was fun!

Last weekend I made a crossmember for the transmission...boxed steel, nothing fancy.

Here is the TKO 600...

Started with the base where it mounts to the transmission...

Added the arms...

Ready for drilling...

Any info or pics of how you adapted the 04 mach1 master cylinder/hydroboost
to the car. Changes to the brake pedal? Bracket to mount it to the car? What PS pump did you use? How about how you adapted the hoses?

Here is a diagram I found, forgot what forum I found it on.

I haven't bought all the fittings and hoses yet, so I can't comment on that.

I am using the stock pedal and assembly. I had to shorten the rod on the hydroboost by .5 or .75...I can't remember. I recommend measuring yourself if you go down this path. I used the stock mounting plate on the hydroboost, just drilled new holes for the studs and it slipped right in. I had to modify my cable clutch firewall support bracket, but that was no big deal.

I plan on using a KRC setup.

Here is their kit for a 302, but the 351w setup is very similar. Their steering pump allows different fittings for pressure so you can adjust some feel.

sweet build thus far! Hey what size steel did you use for the trans crossmember? I'm planning on doing something very similar with my crossmember for my T56 conversion in my 70 mach.

I believe it is 1.5" x 4" .120 wall. I'll probably redo mine to allow header/exhaust clearance. I spaced when on that part.....

Man.... that thing is freakin GORGEOUS!!!

(makes me wanna' go out in the garage and throw rocks at mine )

Got any pics / advice on the brake install? Who's stuff did ya use, problems, etc... ?
