The guy i sold the car to 4 years ago is going to the street legals this weekend. I need Nos, lots of it... No seriously, Im going to run full slicks which should get me a 12.8@105 at least. I drove that viper to a 12.3 @114(maybe 112 I forget) in the same form it is today. The guy I sold the car to is at least 300lbs(6'6" huge mofo). I weight 170lbs. Is the wieght, and his inexperience enough to get me the win. I think it might be close. I will post results next week of course. BTW at the street legals the lanes will be wet from the ricers.

I've had the gt since 98, the viper was a 01, I kept it for 6 monts, sold it for a 2001 996 carrera 4 cab. Got over being flashy and in 02 sold the 911 and bought a black w/limo tint 02 z71 suburban which I currently own.

well isnt it like for every hundred pounds you knock off you lose 1 tenth so using the math add a few hundred tack those tenths back on. and if he doesnt know what he is doing it could be a race, but your gonna have to drive like a champ.

His fat butt and his inexperience to drive is going to
hurt his times lol. I bet he losses 3 or 4 tenths from
your old times with that car.If he knows how to launch
that Viper correctly than you will loss I think.
The best of luck though Squares!

That doesnt sound like a smart purchase for the money spent, but it sure sounds fun
I would buy a used car like a Cobra before I went that route. Damm california laws. I can only get about 450 legally tops with the gt 2v

Its funny you mention nitrous, I'm going to brothers performanve in a few hours possibly to see if I want to go that route before the weekend,. maybe if Im lucky I can have it on the rollers by friday. And get used to it at least well enough for summit series next weekend..
