Project was put on hold, car sat approx 8 yrs.
Found rust by brake fluid reservoir/below strut tower.
Read a million diff theories on rust removers, converters, you name it, Im sure I read it online somewhere.
Anyway here is my experience with Navel Jelly.
Put 1st coat on thin and cleaned off about 15 mins later (no significant change)
2nd Coat (Thick), left it on a day or so rinsed/brushed off and wire wheeled it
3rd Coat just put on.
I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO USE THE STUFF OR THE RIGHT WAY...LOL, I JUST KNOW PICS LIKE THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL FOR MYSELF.
Hopefully these pics help someone else who needs a visual
After knockin soft rust off
After cutting hole and blowing out loose s**t
2nd coat jelly on a day or so and lightly cleaned it off
Then wire wheeled it
3rd/Last Coat
