I have seen box intakes for many Ford engines, but never for a 289/302.

This is the first I have ever seen.
I tried to get it.
At -7 seconds I bid 470, but lost it to a 650 bid at -4 seconds!

Bidding almost 500 bux on an intake manifold. I must be stupid!

When I used to go to the local Goodguys show every year the same vendor would be there with the same rare intake manifolds, including that one. The 4 years I went to that show he never sold it.

Like his intakes, the show consisted of the same cars every year so we stopped going.

that intake is catually probably worth twice what it went for, nowadays at least. hell, the 69 Ford Muscle Parts (C90X) 351w aluminum intake i bought on ebay 3 years ago for $250 is probably worth twice that now.
