My left tire was a little wobbly.

Turns out upon tourqing down the lug nuts, one is stripped and the other f**king broke off on me. Given these are new lug nuts (5 months) and new rims basically. I'm READY to leave for NY (300MI) for the weekend - what do you guys think? The rotor nut didn't completley break off. God damn it.

Any quick estimates would be greatly appreciated. This s**t always happens when I'm about to go somewhere.

Also what the hell am I looking at for a cost?

Just checked the other "broken lug nut threads" - guess I'll have to wait until f**king 8AM to get a new stud thrown on and the stripped one fixed as well.

Stupid lug nuts man. I swear to god.

That sucks, but I'm glad to hear that you got it fixed before leaving. If you didnt, there would be a pile-up on the freeway and you would need to do a 70-0 MPH stop at near-lock-up and that wouldnt be good.

You can pound them out yourself (though if done on the car, it's hard on the bearings) and to install, I insert it as far as it will go, put a nut on it and lightly blap it in stages with the impact.

Good luck.
