Need fuel pressure help ! bad pump / filter ?

OK so I'm driving to work this am, and I notice that when ever my tach is jumping around so is my fuel pressure gauge (Autometer / mechanical) or vice versa. I don't know but they seem to be in on it together. After pulling my hair out looking for a vaccum, or air leak last night (after the last parts I need for my blower install arrived ) I couldn't find anything. I pulled my chip off no difference. I reset my computer - no difference. So anyway my car accelerates perfectly. Usually idles perfectly, but at cruising speed normally in 5th at about 70-75 the car will buck and sputter. I push in the clutch and the tach drops slowly to 1,500 rpms, and jumps up, and down. That when I notice the fuel pressure fluctuating also. Once this am the tach went all the way down like it was about to die then shot back up, and the fuel pressure gauge shot up too. It seems like I've seen my fp gauge show more pressure recently than I'd ever seen before, and it seems to be running 2-3 psi lower than normal. So. What's wrong w/ my chit ? Fuel pump or filter ? Could one of those be my problem ? I have my 03 Cobra tank, and pumps now - can I put them in w/o the blower, and #42's installed, or altering my tune ? It's acting like my IAC is bad (except my idle is good), so I replaced it w/ a new Ford one, and no change.

weird. My car accelerates perfectly though. In fact seems to be running strong, but cruising on the highway it bucks. How many miles are on your car ? I have over 100K miles, and unless my fuel injectors are messing up now have been fine so far. Just hate to see you replacing stuff unless you're sure. My only current power mods are gears, exhaust, MAF, CAI and somewhat of a dyno tuned chip. Had all my timimg temporarily removed in anticipation of my blower install.

Also my car seems to be running / accelerating strong. Could that be b/c my car is running lean due to it not gettng enough fuel ?

I got it fixed. I took off my AFM n/a powerpipe and put my stock (tiny rubber) intake pipe back on, changed my fuel filter, and reset the computer, and whola. Seems to idle a little high but, I didn't drive it around too much for the computer to adjust, and / or I put so many stock parts back on my car my dyno tune may be off now. Not sure which fixed it. Not enough time to try in between changes. I'd be surprised if my AFM powerpipe all the sudden had an air leak in the fittings since I never messed with it recently though (getting ready to sell it). I'm getting grease on my keyboard. Thanks for the help guys ! Anyone need a bran new IAC for cheap ?:banghead:
