I wouldn't mind seeing a diagram too. My dome lights don't turn on when the doors are open or with the dimmer, but the switches on the dome light turns them on
There is a separate bulb for the door check light. Pop off your two covers for the map lights and you'll see some screws holding the assembly to the roof. Remove them and you'll have easier access to popping the bulb out from the back. At least I had to do it this way, my bulbs were stuck in there pretty good and ford didn't make them very accessible to remove in my opinion. Hope that helps.
