You can sometimes take them apart and clean them and then they work again. I've done that on mine before. But if you want to make sure it is the switch before just buying a new one, the door lock switch is the same thing, but it just has a different "locator" tab on it, the white tab on the bottom of the LMR picture above. Just cut the tab off and it will fit the window switch opening so you can test it. Or cut the tab on the "bad" window switch and try it in the door lock slot.
