Interior and Upholstery Need Help With My Rear Seats

I have an 88 LX vert and want to change the covers of the rear seat. I bought a set of covers that came out of an 88 GT vert. The issue is that the seat covers have holes in them for seatbelts to thread through and my cushions do not have those holes. Can I just cut holes in my cushion and thread the seatbelts through?

sure but it will look like ass and the seats will rip and the foam will tear.

It's an extra expense, I'm pretty sure that if you contact TMI, they can sell you new foam, holes included..

I believe past reaponsesfrom foam distributors have been that its just rolled foam and they don't make replacements
