If someone can tell me what this, please do i have no idea what it's to

It might help if you mentioned:
  • The model year of your Mustang
  • The motor and transmission of your Mustang
  • If you are having any problems due to this random plug.
Don't make the people who are trying to help you guess.

Do you want an educated guess? It's for an option that your car does not have. Think Manual vs automatic. Or automatic vs manual.

Ahh okay it is a 2002 mustang gt Manual 4.6

so where did you find it?
what was it next to and such. the pic could be a wiring harness or the back of a head unit lol.

Next to the pedals by the ecu i think under dash driver side

i can go look under mine in the am but it is the right shape for a CD connection. im not sure if you still have the factory cd player installed under the radio because aftermarket head units dont support it so it kinda just hangs out. but ill compare it in the AM
