Hey wats the best way to remove the locking ring for the gas level on a 65 . do i need some kind of special tool ? thnx

are you talking about the sending unit at the gas tank? on my 68 i just used a flat head screw driver and a small hammer with some double d.

yea the sending unit . i tried the flat head but it wont budge .
