So I pulled out my motorcraft platinums last night (out of boredum) because I was advised that my gap might be too tight. I originally gapped them at .050. I changed the gap to .054

So i drove the car to work this morning, and it seems to me that the car actually runs a little smoother, but it feels slightly weaker in the lower RPM's.

I know the SOTP meter is unreliable, but I'm pretty anal about this stuff and tend to notice these things with some degree of accuracy.

Any Ideas? I really didn't think that opening the gap would change it much, but i appear to be wrong.

PS: I have 10.5.1 compression Big Bore. Could that affect it somehow...

What do YOU think???
