I'm getting my car tinted on August 14th by VTR in Everett. I've seen their work and have heard some great things about them as well.

I inquired about a group discount, and they're up to it. We can save as much as $30-40 off the cost depending on the amount of cars. I've already gotten a few lined up to go in (we don't have to do this on the same day -- as they're scheduled 2 weeks out currently).

They quoted me for $209 to tint and after discount it'll be roughly $170. They'll go as low as 15% but limo tint is available for back windows and such.

If you're interested, post up as you'll have to schedule soon. Tell them you're with "SeattleRSX" (hehe) and if you need a contact name, just say Tyler is running the show.

Please post here or PM me if you're getting in on this, so I can keep track of how many people are being added. I've already got a few in on the deal.

I'm in. Is there anything I need to do other than call to schedule a time and tell them I'm with "SeattleRSX"?

I've been wanting to get my windows tinted for a while now, and this seems like the perfect opportunity.

Nope, that should be the magic word. I left my contact info there and they can get a hold of me if there are any problems to be worked out.

I told them there will be several different makes of cars, and they said that shouldn't be a problem. Just as long as we're scheduling at similar dates, and staying as a "group" we're all good to go.

Just want to give this thread a bump and say that i've scheduled my car for tinting on Friday the 13th.

Hope that date doesn't end up jinxing me.

Great news, glad to hear you're in.

I'm sure this offer is still valid for anyone who still wishes to get their car tinted with a discount.

How do they deal with the upper portion of the rear window. I have seen tint jobs on mustangs that had the whole window tinted but that area. Looked stupid. Just wondering. I will have to wait until after I get back from Hawaii next week to get mine tinted. I have to go 20%

You have several options.

They can add a strip of vinyl from the edge of the window across the dot matrix so there is a solid edge before the tint begins.

I hate looking at windows tinted around the dot matrix leaving little cracks of untinted glass. Just looks tacky.

BTW - I'd schedule NOW, as they're a few weeks out and you'd have less time to wait after you get back from your vacation. Also, I'd do it now so you can receive the the discount with 'SeattleRSX' before it runs dry. There is no expiration date, but I'm sure they'll stop accepting it soon.
