replaced battery

Ok, so my battery went to crap ville when it got cold here so i got new one under warranty. This is the first time i changed or even unhooked my battery since i got my O/R pipes.
So far i have noticed the exhaust smell is there and is STRONG, but the car runs better. I think my car was running rich before i changed the battery out because i was getting good mpgs before i went o/r then they dropped like 3 miles to the gallon.. yeah i hope i can get back into the 17mpgs again..

Battery has nothing to do with gas mileage or running rich/lean.

The computer still "learns" no matter what, resetting it just makes it start at nothing, so it doesn't take as long.
