Went to Speedworld for the AZmustang vs AZfbody Assoc. Club Day Race. I entered into the Power Adder class. My qualifying run was a 11.8@121.67mph at only 8psi of boost. I got yelled at to slow it down or go home for the lack of a roll bar. First round of the elimations i was paired up against a Procharged LT1. I left the line with a 1.70 sixty and banged the gears to hit my best ever 11.50@124mph at only 16psi of boost. I think i am having a head gasket issue as well under high boost, so i am going to do a compression test and see. I was unable to continue because they booted me out of the track after that run. I have no been booted by every track i have ran at in the last 2 weeks. LOL.

yea somthings obviously wrong there... Didnt pick up much mph when you doubled the boost. 16psi, should be trapping 128 or more.. No way to tell for sure unless you pull the heads, blown head gaskets can be tricky to diagnose ( somtimes)

Sweet car/run.. 10's shouldnt be a problem once its running 100%

I changed the plugs last week and all 4 on the passenger bank had small rust spots on them. The car ran liked a raped ape in the 8th, 100mph, but only picked up 24 in the back half, which my car normally averages between 28-30mph gains in the last half. I am doing a compression test this week and most likely will be pulling that head off. I think the head lifts during the high boost runs only. My low boost run the car went 92 mph in the 8th and 122 in the quarter.

I was looking forward to seeing you run, but I just saw your car parked over by the Grand Nationals...you must have been booted already.
I had the same prob a couple weeks ago, so I didn't even try running on Sunday.
I like those wheels....what are they.
Are you using the NOS as well?

I have yet to open the bottle with the turbo yet for fear of my stock block. The wheels are Weld Magnum 2.0s. Would have been nice to met you in person, o well always next time. You should bring your car down to Tucson sometime.

When i ran the car at FFW at Firebird last November, the car went 11.9@127mph and dynoed 560/575 to the wheels and smoked the clutch on the dyno. I am thinking about doing a 6 point bar now before the next FFW comes. I want to average low 11s this year.

By the way i am mentioned in this months MMFF for the true street class at number 10 out of 60 cars, woooooo woooooooooooooooo

I might be lifting the cylinder head on the passenger bank, gonna do a compression test to find out. Car just recently started to act funny at high boost in the last week, but as you can see in the video hauls ass at lower boost.
