New Best times! Same parts as before :)

So I went to LACR here in palmdale, california and here are my times....
I will give the adjusted times because the track is at high elevation and it says on their website to adjust the times (lacr.net)

Best 1/4 time

MPH (I3): 75.161 (Corrected MPH: 77.415)
I4: 12.230

E.T.: 14.664 (Correct ET: 14.224)
MPH: 95.676 (Corrected MPH: 98.546)

Best MPH

I2: 6.339
I3: 9.570
MPH (I3): 76.180 (Corrected MPH: 78.465)
I4: 12.267

E.T.:14.684 (Corrected ET: 14.243)
MPH: 96.190 (Corrected MPH: 99.075)

So my best 1/4 time was 14.2 and my best MPH was 99MPH and also my best reaction time was 0.185. My car is pretty much stock other than a CAI and flowmaster mufflers.

not bad man I think you could be pulling a 13.9 no problem though. Need more work on those 60' times. I just went for the 1st time ever last weekend myself, my times are in my sig with those mods

haha yea i should get radials but I need to start buying some mods tho....also regarding the 60' times I just can't seem to get better than a 2.2 or so...what should I do to drop those 60' times...I heard that I would need to upgrade my suspension in order to get better 60' times...any ideas/thoughts/comments/suggestions/discussions?

STEEDAGT did you top out 3rd when you ran your car or were you in 4th? Next time you go I wanna see a 13.7 at least

I think those are pretty good times for a 5spd with lowering springs. The CAI and Flows are probably worth very little or nothing in the 1/4.

That "shorty" should gain you at least a few tenths based on the reduced drag and improved aerodynamics. Plus less weight in the front due to the "shorty" helps with weight transfer during your launch, surprised you didn't pop a wheelie. Finally, the shorter antenna draws and retains less heat since they are black, thereby reducing the amount of heat located in the hood region, allowing cooler air to flow into the intake, and we all know cooler air is the key to power.

Perhaps they should call them SLHAI....Slightly Less Hot Air Intakes.

But seriously, good times, keep up the practice!

I'm pretty sure I shifted into 4th before the trap...but it was my 1st time to the track so I honestly barely remember anything

haha i see....im planning on getting TB, plenum, catback, x-pipe (probably catted), new shocks n struts, short shifter, headers, gears (maybe 4.10s), A tune for all the mods together, and then get some drag radials....are mid 13s possible? what about low 13s?
