Hello my fellow mustang owners!!!! I am glad to say that i finally own the new 05 mustang v6. I know alot of you rather buy the v8 but insurance for me will be very high and payments. Plus i am also in the process of buying a house. But it does feel great to jump from a nissan sentra to a ford mustang. Now there is 2 mustangs in the family my parents 02 gt and my 05 mustang. It is all gonna change when my parents get to trade the mustang for the new dodge charger in april probably. So basically i left my old family the sentra SE-R family and jumped aboard to the mustang family

Welcome, Why are the parents going form a Mustang to a Dodge Charger? Isn't the Dodge Charger a 4 door? As a former owner of a 1969 Charger all I can say about the new one is I wish Dodge would have styled the charger more like the 60's with 2 doors. I bet the 05 Mustang will out sell those Chargers, GTO's and all the other cars that missed out on the throwback styling.

If this is how the charger is going to look then he is going to get it. Now if its a 4 door car i doubt it.

no that was the concept but the new cahrger looks nothing like that it is almost identical to the 300c

Thanks slegos888stang for the update. I guess my dad is gonna have to roll with his next choice. The 05 mustang GT convertible.

Since the local dealers only have v-6's on the lot, I have driven two of them. The saleman and I took one of them out and put it through the paces. I was very impressed. and I know my gt will surely trill. I was just wandering why/the reasons/the rasionel behind buying a v-6 compared to a bad a** mo-fo like the gt?

Well the reason i did not by the GT was because the payment was going to be big since i have no downpayment and i traded my sentra. Second, insurance would of killed me since i am 22, and when i called for the v6 it was 200 so you can imagine how much it was going to be with the v8. No, i do not have a record onmy driver license it is clean. Then i think a house is more important then a v8 car. Meaning that at 22 i have 2 cars one for my wife and the mustang for me and right now we are in the process of getting a house built. So you can pretty much say i have my hands tied once i have the house and i dont want to risk any of the items being repossesed from me. Either other way i going to school for pharmacy, and once i get my degree i would be able to Buy the next GT if possible.
