ConGrats on the new Pony. As for exhaust, there is plenty to read in the tech section of this forum.

Before you go spending money on mufflers just to find out you don't like the sound and buy a new pair, check out this video of mine. It has the Pypes O/R H pipe with the stock muffers. It is cheaper than most of the mufflers out there PLUS has no drone and that deep muscular sound. Wish I stumbled upon his combo before getting my Flowmasters first then the H pipe. Only reason I have the stockers on now is because one of my Flows had broken baffles and would buzz something horrible under 2000 RPM. I had to swap them while I waited for Flowmaster to send me a new one.

I used flow single chamber 40s, pypes or h pipe / wfrpp headers. Definitely strong sounding. IIIIIIII LLLLLike it!. You will get a high level of resonence however being of the 60s era that's what it was all about. If I want quiet I'll drive the Benz. LOL
