I have a 2003 Mustang GT. I have the following mods on it; offroad x-pipe, flowmaster mufflers and a cold air intake. Also have FRPP 3.73 gears on the way. I was wondering if anyone out there has an idea of which mod would help me more. A throttle body or a timing adjuster. If you have dyno numbers that would help too. Thanks guys.

Throttle body won't help you at this point. If you are comparing those two bolt-on's, I'll say Timing adjuster + Pulleys will do (if you are planning to stay N/A)....if you are like me and saving for the blower, then I wouldn't waste my $$ on it

Do you have something to correct you gauges for your gears? If not I would suggest getting a predator. You can change your speedo for the gears and also adjust your timming. just my .02

Yes I do have a speed calibrator with those gears also. I should be getting those in today or tomorrow. Yes! As for the tb or timing adj. thanks for the info. My cousin told me a t/a would help me better.

TB isn't really going to help unless you have a bigger MAF sensor and programmer to adjust for the new airflow. Otherwise, it's a moot point.

Would I have to do any programming if I were to install a timing adjuster and underdrive pullies?

You should sell the speedcal forget about buying the T/A, and just get the predator.

You would be able to add a little timing and correct the gear ratio. I think someone said you can also smooth or change the a/f mixture as well.

save for a supercharger, dont get a TB or any kind of little upgrade like that. get bigger fuel injectors and pump and save them for a supercharger. a T/A would help too!
