Hey guys I need help from ya'll - My 86 is acting up on me. when I cranked it over the darn thing wont start turning over {starter?} I took the key out and it continued so I pulled the neg cable off, but when i put it back on {no keys} the darn thing starts turning over again. What gives!

Help ASAP - i need to get to work tomorrow!!!!
