I've had my 2011 Mustang for ten months now. I am absolutely in love with her!
I purchased my 2011 Mustang at the end of August. I'm absolutely thrilled! Every day...EVERY day...it's nice to say that she's MY car. So much fun to drive!
You guys already know all the specs on the new Mustang V6's, so I won't bore you with those details again! Except that I chose the manual trans!
Her Story:
Decided on the Mustang about the beginning of August (sold my old car for the money to put down on it), everything was set into motion BEFORE I left to go to my first Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit, Michigan. That was an awesome trip...but a totally different story. I had sent a deposit check to a dealership in Florida for a vehicle I planned to pick up there. One thing led to another and I was flying back up to Michigan the following weekend to pick up (long previously named) Trinity at a dealership as soon as my flight landed. I signed all my paperwork on the trunk of another 2011 Mustang. Talk about excitement...I was in shock. I drove her off the lot...she has a manual transmission. I've wanted one for as long as I have loved cars...there's just something about being able to shift yourself. Two days...approximately 1200 miles...eight states...two drivers. We stopped in each state to take pictures. Basically, I couldn't have planned the experience any better than what happened.
I also make sure that it continues every day...enjoying my car...learning how to have fun with my car. A new concept in my reality!!!
Didn't plan for such an elaborate introduction, but I'm glad to be here! Glad to call myself a MUSTANG owner!
