new kick panels in vinyl

i was looking at the new parts section at mustang depot online and came across these. new kick panels for coupe/vert with or with out vinyl.

nice to be able to add component speakers!!!

the bad thing is you have to really use skinny speakers, they dont allow for any speakers with serious magnets in them.

Those are for components which are usually thinner then a 2/3 way speaker

it doesnt take much massaging to install 3 way 6" drivers

I just picked up some Infinity 6 1/2 's and they are two inches deep. I am hoping they will work. Going to try and cut an old set of covers and beef up the mounting with plywood ring and see what happens.

I installed Infinity 6 1/2" with wood spacers a while back:

they make platic spacer for like 6 bucks
