by receiver, you mean my cd player? its just an open notch to hold stuff. I actually do like my gauges there, and i dont miss the air blowing on me, i usually just use the windshield fan anyway. And yes, the boost gauge is for vacuum. I didnt want to replace it if i ever got a blower
