As much as I love my AR Torq Thrust II rims, I've grown tired of having to polish them way too often. (Polish, not clean, not wipe down...elbow grease intense polishing...I guess I've grown lazy in my days)

So what will be taking their place? From Late Model Restoration, the 10th Anniversary Cobra knockoffs from SVE in bronze (with a polished lip). Nothing wrong with em, but everyone and their mother has two tone black and silver/polished/chrome, so I went with bronze...IMO, it's a bit of a tribute to old trans am racing style wheels.

I bought the 9" and 10" set with 274/40 and 315/35 Sumi rubber. They arrived today - woohoo!

One additional note - I'll be replacing the "SVE" center caps for some OEM "SVT" center caps very soon. The SVE ones are nice, but what the heck is SVE? LOL

PICS:

oh man thank you for getting those wheels, no offense if this comes out rude but i have never like those old rims on your car. I think your car is 50x better now, the only thing that im not really feeling is the front license plate frame.

I like 'em. Being different is why I have Mach 1 wheels on my 96.

I still dig the Torq Thrusts, but they never stay clean...NEVER. Thanks for the kind words. I hate the front license plate too, but it came that way to me.

Huge pics? Yeah, I have a digital SLR

Torqs for sale - yep, but I'm trying to sell em locally first...I'll keep you in mind if I'm unable to sell em here. They are SN-95 specific, 17X11 and 17X9.5 with 315/35 and 275/40 rubber. The fronts are a year old and still in good shape. The rears are done and need replaced.

Oh man......those were the exact ones I was looking at for my car.....

I saw the pictures on LRS of the bronze ones on a Rio Red GTS and I fell in love with them.

Now someone locally will have the same exact rims...Darn....

They look killer man!
